Hearing Aids

Much of the way we talk about hearing aids revolves around placements within the ear canal. Invisible in-the-canal hearing aids are housed entirely in the ear canal and that makes them virtually invisible. The other side of that coin is that they lack the power of other options and additional features.

Most of this type of hearing aid sits in the canal. However, the handle used to place and remove the hearing aid within the ear does sit outside the canal. They’re still extremely subtle, though still lack features of larger models.

A balanced mix of sitting inside the canal and out of the ear. While the bulk of the device is invisible within the ear, some of the hearing aid will still be visible to the people around you, depending on the shape of your unique ear canal.

This model moves us from within the canal to the outer ear. Custom-fit to the shell of your ear, they can be found in both a full shell (the entire ear shell) or a half shell (just the lower part of the ear).

A very popular style of hearing aid, these types situate the receiver (speaker) inside the ear canal. The body of the device sits behind the ear and uses a fine wire to connect the hearing aid to the earpiece.

Only a small earpiece sits inside the ear while a small tube connects it to the remainder of the hearing aid, leaving them less vulnerable to earwax and moisture. The receiver is located in the casing that sits behind the ear.
